Katie Melua’s fourth studio album ‘The House’ entered the Billboard pan-European album chart at number 1. ‘The House’ knocks last week’s number 1 ‘Iron Man 2’ by AC/DC down to 3 with the Rolling Stones’ ‘Exile On Main Street’ remaining at number 2.
Described by The Times as “her best yet”, ‘The House’ is produced by William Orbit and sees Katie co-writing five tracks with Guy Chambers (long time collaborator of Robbie Williams). The European success of ‘The House’ re-confirms Katie’s position as a British artist with international appeal.
