Sound Performance are proud to again be the official vinyl manufacturing partner of Record Store Day. We have been supporting independent music for over 25 years and are passionate about vinyl and it’s resurgence which has enabled artists and labels to thrive.
We've been pressing your favourite music on vinyl since 1994, all colours, shapes and sizes and we're excited to be able to offer this service for free to the competition winner.
As well as the opportunity to win your music pressed to vinyl and distributed, this will be a great chance to get your music heard and promoted across the music industry. Judging your entries will be our four judges:

Alex Rice - Sports Team
Their debut album Deep Down Happy was released in 2020 on Island Records and Bright Antenna Records. The album received four out of five stars from NME, and was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2020.

Sister Cookie - Winner of RSDUnsigned 2020
Following her crowning as the winner of RSDUnsigned 2020, Cookie signed to The Liquid Label and recorded her debut album with Alex McGowan (Jim Jones, Urban Voodoo Machine, Future Shape of Sound) at Eko East studio, mixed by Tom Campbell (Michael Kiwanuka, Little Simz, Sault).
HOW TO ENTER #RSDUNSIGNED
IF YOU HAD ONE MINUTE TO INTRODUCE YOUR MUSIC TO THE WORLD... HOW WOULD YOU DO IT?
You have up to one minute to present your music to us. No set format, just submit a video showcasing your work as best you feel in just 60 seconds.
*Must be unsigned and have original material. All genres welcome.
The winning band or artist gets 500 x vinyl manufactured free by Sound Performance Ltd
To enter, upload your one minute long video to YouTube (your video title must include the hashtag #RSDUnsigned and the name of your band/act) and complete the entry form, giving us your YouTube link.
*Incomplete, inaudible and incomprehensible entries will be void.
